E-Action is a project of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, a community of 85,000 Episcopalians in 147 congregations in the greater Los Angeles, CA region. This Action Tree is sponsored by Bishop Jon Bruno, with the help of Lay Leader Peggy Adams and Canon Lydia Lopez.

E-Action is committed to interfaith social justice work on behalf of children and communities in Los Angeles, in California, and in the United States. We encourage and welcome anyone of any faith who supports the mission of Prepare the Future to join E-Action.

This Action Tree was started by David Hornbeck, the founder of Prepare the Future. As Maryland State Superintendent of Schools, Philadelphia's Superintendent of Schools, a chief architect of Kentucky's sweeping education reforms, and Senior Education Advisor to the Business Roundtable, David has dedicated his professional life to creating outstanding education opportunities for all children, including those who have historically been poorly served. Founder's Tree is hosted by David Hornbeck.

Founder's Tree is dedicated to advancing the values of fairness, trust, responsibility, and strong, caring communities by speaking up for a high quality education for all children, including, especially, poor children, children of color, children with disabilities, and children for whom English is a second language. Founder's Tree, started with a network of relationships built on David's lifetime of service, is open to anyone wanting to create a powerful voice to demand positive and substantial change in American public education for all children.

Mobilize.org is a youth-led, all-partisan network dedicated to educating, empowering, and energizing youth people to increase political participation. Mobilize.org shows young people how public policy impacts their lives and, conversely, how they can impact public policy. The Mobilize.org Action Tree is hosted by David Smith.

The Mobilize.org Action Tree brings young people of diverse backgrounds together to focus on issues of high-quality education and youth involvement in decision-making. It works on issues such as college affordability, youth involvement on school boards and councils, and other efforts to build a bright future for America.

The National Service Learning Partnership (NSLP) and the State Education Agency K-12 Service Learning Network (SEANet) are national networks of members committed to advancing school-based service-learning as a core part of every young person?s life and education. The NSLP/SEANet Action Tree is hosted by Nelda Brown and Kenny Holdsman.
